Bought my 1992 Accord LX Station Wagon almost 21 years ago. It was 10 years old and had 140,000 mi. Today, with 220,000+ mi. It's still as dependable as ever! At 76 years old, I can still fix anything I don't have to get under the car to work on. Have done the alternator, O rings in the spark plug wells, changed out belts. Cleaned the power steering resevoir filter, add freon to the A/C system, and always do my own tune-ups. Considering I'm 4'8" tall, and a woman, I'd say it was well would the $1,400.00 I paid for it 20 years ago. Actually, the last time I checked,it's worth more now than what I bought it for!

This car was well ahead of it's time. I get anywhere from 25 to 32 miles per gallon. They have plenty of power for traveling through mountains. They are fairly simple to work on for do-it-yourselfers. I have seen them with over 400,000 miles running strong. The suspension system is a piece of art. Until recently it was one of the best cornering front wheel drive cars ever produced. A truly timeless machine, the body style still looks great now over 30 years later.
